Herman Elbert Jones, III, 81 passed away May 20, 2022 in Goddard. He was born on May 29, 1941.
He leaves behind his wife, Judy Jones, of Hutchinson; 3 children, Stephan Jones, of Larned, Karen Rotts, of Washington State, and Asta Jones, of Minnesota; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Herman was in the United States Army, and he worked at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility for 20 years. He liked to work on crossword puzzles, yard work and sitting on the porch, he also enjoyed watching westerns on the TV and he loved animals.
A viewing will be June 9, 2022 at 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a service on June 10, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas, burial to follow at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson, Kansas.
