HUTCHINSON, Kan. — For those who already signed up, the distribution dates for toys and food from the Hutchinson Salvation Army are coming up.
Food box drive through distribution is Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Toy shop drive through distribution is Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If there is a family who did not get signed up, you can come on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with proof of address, photo ID for adults and ID for all children and proof of income and they will try to accommodate with anything that is left after they have served those who have signed up.
The Salvation Army also still needs kettle donations, as they lost most of the donations they would have received this past Wednesday because businesses across Hutchinson where kettles are allowed, including Walmart, were without power and therefore closed for a period due to the wind.
The Salvation Army's Kettle Goal in Hutchinson for 2021 is $70,000.
