HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Lynsey Becher with Stage 9 explains what you can expect at the new If Walls Could Talk event Friday night in Hutchinson.
"We have seven stops," Becher said. "Seven businesses have been kind enough to be involved this year. Each stop is going to have a different type of entertainment, telling you the history of the building."
You'll want to be on time for the event.
"We're hoping to send groups out right at 6:30 p.m.," Becher said. "If you can get there just a little bit early, we're going to put people in six groups. Each group has a first stop and then they will go through their route from there. Each group has two guides, so everybody knows where they are going. It's going to be a big walking tour, so put your walking shoes on. It's going to span from Bookends all the way down to Armstrong Antiques and Reno County Museum and it will come back up on the east side of the street."
Also, it's all electronic tickets this year, so you'll just check in with their box office area at the Chester I. Lewis Plaza across from the Fox if you've already paid, or you can get a ticket there that night, as well.
