Release from Hutchinson Police Department
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Officers of the Hutchinson Police Department conducted an undercover operation into the solicitation of a child for sex on Wednesday and made an arrest.
At 9:34 a.m. Wednesday, members of the Hutchinson Police Department Special Operations and Investigations Bureau completed an investigation into a Juvenile Sex Offense. Thirty-three-year-old David A. Johnson of 907 E. 7th, Hutchinson, KS was arrested for indecent solicitation of a child, sexual exploitation of a child, and electronic solicitation.
After lengthy conversations between Johnson and officers, who Johnson believed to be a juvenile, Johnson went to a local residence to meet up with the juvenile to engage in sexual activity, but instead Johnson met up with officers who arrested him.
