RENO COUNTY—A Hutchinson woman was injured in an accident just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Hutchinson.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy SUV driven by 86-year-old Cloris Kae Enns of Hutchinson was southbound on Adams approaching 5th Avenue when Enns started to make a left turn while failing to yield to a northbound 2011 Ford passenger car driven by 30-year-old Lance P. Weve of Hutchinson. The vehicles collided coming to rest in the intersection.
EMS transported Enns to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Weve was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
