Nancy Carolyn Anderson, 87, of Lindsborg died Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Bethany Home. Nancy was born January 26, 1934 in Manhattan, KS to the late Richard Paige-Herzig and the late Frances (Larson) Herzig. She married David W. Anderson on August 25, 1954 at Salemsborg Lutheran Church.
Nancy earned as Associates Degree from the Asbury Hospital School of Nursing in Salina, and she worked as a registered nurse. She was a member of Salemsborg Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of WELCA.
Survivors include her daughter: Debra Johnson (Warren) of Lindsborg, KS; son: Dana H. Anderson (Janice) of Edmond, OK; step mother: Ann Paige; half-brothers: David, Michael, Brian, Doug, Richard, and Kevin Paige; half-sisters: Susan Miller, Jennifer Blanchard, Deborah Harris, and Maria Steele; grandchildren: Anna Anderson (Brenton), Tyler Johnson (Molly), Ashley Swan (Scott), Ian Johnson, and Emily Johansson (Petrus); great-grandchildren: Brynna and Marik Anderson, August, Frances, and Rosemary Swan, Otis and Harley Anne Johansson, and Brik and Soren Johnson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: David; and her brother: Philip R. Herzig and his wife Gloria.
Cremation has been chosen. Memorial services will be 10:30a.m., Monday, July 5 at Salemsborg Lutheran Church, with Pastor Ethan Feistner officiating. Fellowship will follow.
