RENO COUNTY — On Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office "Retro" car was introduced to western Reno County.
Deputies spent the morning checking the road conditions and looking for accidents but also had the chance to stop by several towns to take a picture.
The retro car was repurposed from one of our older patrol units, it is meant to look like some of the Sheriff's cars from years past including decals that were used decades ago that the department still had laying on a shelf.
Reno County automotive and Lowen Certified helped with the design.
The car will be out patrolling Reno County from time to time and will be in every town before long.
