RENO COUNTY, Kan. —Two people were injured in an accident just before 9a.m. Thursday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2018 GMC Sierra driven by Timothy Mathew Konrade, 37, McPherson, was northbond on Kansas 14 approaching the Kansas 96 Junction three miles south of South Hutchinson. After stopping at the stop sign, the driver failed to yield the right of way and struck a southbound 2005 Ford F150 driven by Ricky Allen Christian, 60, Belpres.
EMS transported Konrade and Christian to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Konrade was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
