Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to bid on more than 140 pieces of artwork during the Hutchinson Art Center's Summer Consignment Art Auction taking place today.
The auction will feature works by local, regional, national and international artists, offering a wide variety of styles and mediums for collectors and first-time buyers alike.
Doors open at 9 a.m., giving attendees time to view the artwork before bidding begins at 11 a.m. Admission is free and open to the public, and organizers say there will be ample seating available throughout the event.
Visitors can also purchase lunch on-site during the auction.
All auction pieces are on display in the Main Gallery through the morning, allowing prospective bidders one final opportunity to examine the artwork in person before the sale begins.
For those unable to attend the preview in person, images of the auction pieces are also available for viewing on the organization's website.
Organizers encourage community members and art collectors to attend and take part in the annual summer event.
