Opening Day for the Royals is today, with Cole Ragans set to throw the first pitch of the 2025 season at 3:10 p.m. at Kauffman Stadium. He’ll face the reigning American League Central champion Guardians—the team the Royals are looking to unseat this year.

Our pregame coverage starts at 2:30 p.m. on KWBW-AM/FM (1450/98.5).

The Royals' rotation was the second-best in baseball last year with a 3.55 ERA. They had two starters finish in the top five in American League Cy Young voting—Seth Lugo (second) and Ragans (fourth). Those two combined for 65 starts, and Michael Wacha added 29. All three are back this year. Can they stay healthy?

Jonathan India, a key offseason acquisition, joins Bobby Witt Jr., Vinnie Pasquantino and Salvador Perez to make the Royals' lineup top-heavy. Can they carry this team all the way to October?

KWBW is your home for Royals baseball again in 2025. We've carried the Royals since their first season in 1969.
