The Reno County Extension Master Gardeners and Reno County-K-State Extension invite the public to enjoy an evening of music, learning, and community at the Music in the Garden event on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
The event will take place at the Reno County Extension Master Gardener Demonstration Garden, located on the Hutchinson Community College campus. Guests will have the chance to explore the garden, learn about plants that thrive in the area, and ask questions of Extension Master Gardener volunteers, who will be on hand beginning at 5:30 p.m.
At 6:00 p.m., live music will fill the pavilion as Dr. Jack Cassidy, Jazz Coordinator at Hutchinson Community College, performs. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, as seating will be limited. Guests are also welcome to pack a picnic and enjoy the music while they dine in the garden setting.
The event is free and open to the public.
