HAVEN, Kan. — Haven USD 312 announced Monday that Haven Middle School teacher Diane Weiss-Rhodes has been selected as the second quarter Impact Award Winner. The Impact Award is handed out each quarter to an employee of the district. At the end of the year, one of the four quarterly winners is named Impact Award Winner of the year.
Weiss-Rhodes has served the district for a total of 29 years. She teaches social studies and science at HMS. She has also been the middle school Student Council sponsor, served as a prom sponsor and is currently a District Leadership Team Representative.
Weiss-Rhodes was recognized during Monday's Haven USD 312 School Board meeting.
