Marcus Ray Collins, 8, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 17, 2013 in Kansas City, Missouri. Marcus was a 2nd Grader at Medicine Lodge Grade School. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Attica. Marcus enjoyed Sponge Bob and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, being in nature and spending time playing with sticks, swimming, reading, puzzles, organizing items and wearing hats. He is survived by his parents Dickey and Maggie Collins; siblings, Linda Garcia, Susan Wren, Allen Collins, Brittney Collins, Hope (Ruben) Gonzalez, Kari (Shawn) Solie, Alejandra Collins, Teresa Collins and Michael Collins; grandmother, Juanita Baty; and grandparents, Joe (Dominga) Banda; . Marcus is preceded in death by his grandfather, Allen Gordon. Visitation will be Monday, February 14, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge with Pastor Jason Byars presiding. Memorials may be made to Marcus Collins Memorial Fund in care of Larrison Funeral Home.
