Thelma K. Westerman,98, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 8, 1923 at Isabel, the daughter of William and Anna (Wehling) Laverentz.

On March 6, 1943 she married Wilbert Westerman at St. John Lutheran Church, Nashville. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2003. She remained an active member at St. John Lutheran Church while her health permitted.

They made their home on a farm east of Nashville. Thelma was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidering and word search puzzles.

She is survived by a son, Gary (Lleanna) Westerman of Nashville; a daughter, Donna Clough of Nashville; three granddaughters, Raedeen Wingate of Shady Shores, Texas; Kelly (James) Pauling of Big Cabin Oklahoma; and Shelley Westerman (fiance, Jerry Armstrong) of Nashville; 3 great-grandsons, Wesley (Madison) Pauling, Graysen Wingate and Karsen Wingate; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Bo and Hudson Pauling.

Thelma is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; her husband; brothers, Marvin, Roy, Earl, and Dale; sister, Fern Lampe; son-in-law, Wes Clough; and grandson-in-law, Kevin Wingate.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd, Pratt. Due to Covid, Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery in Nashville with Pastor Dennis Fangmeyer presiding.
