
ANDERSON COUNTY— A Halstead man was injured in an accident in Anderson County on Wednesday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, just after 12:15 p.m., a 2019 Ford F150 driven by 42-year-old Robert L. Geiler of Garnett was southbound on US 59 south of Garnett when the truck crossed the center line and was struck by a 2013 Kenworth semi pulling a trailer driven by 64-year-old Galen F. Friesen of Halstead. Debris from the pickup then struck a 2016 Ford Explorer driven by 33-year-old Ashlee Geiler of Garnett.
Friesen was taken to Anderson County Hospital to be checked out. No one else in the accident was hurt.
