
HAVEN, Kan. — After canceling their last meeting due to a lack of agenda items, the Haven City Council will meet Monday night.
The council will consider several public works matters, including an expenditure for repairs to the generator at the water tower at a cost not to exceed $18,000 and spending $10,000 to replace a streetlight at the intersection of K-96 and Arlington Road.
The council will also take action on filling a vacant seat and whether or not to purchase a parcel of land as recommended by the economic development committee.
Monday's meeting of the Haven City Council begins at 7 p.m. at the Haven city offices.
