
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Behind the 24-point performance by sophomore Adrian Shackleton, the Daytona State College Falcons eliminated Jones College Bobcats 103-74 at the Hutchinson Sports Arena.
The Falcons who are seeded 17th in the tournament led the Bobcats by 11 at the half 44-33 outscored the Bobcats in the second half 59-44.
Daytona State had four players in double figures as Noah Mendy had 19, C.J. Hall had 15 and Tyrese Lacy had 13. The Falcons shot 50.7% (37 of 73) from the floor and 48.6 % (17-35) from three-point land.
Jones College was led in scoring by sophomore Jay Tyler who scored 18. The Bobcats end their season with a 24-10 record.
Daytona State will play on noon on Monday against top seeded Howard College.
