HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County EMS announced Thursday the promotion of Paramedic Travis West to the role of Division Chief.
Division Chiefs are front line supervisory staff. They are responsible for many duties throughout their shifts, including direct management of their shift's employees, ensuring readiness of crews and equipment, scheduling transfers to and from HRMC and hospice, as well as assisting staff in critical calls.
Division Chief West formerly served as Training Captain for Team 2. He now takes on the DC role for Team 3 following the promotion of Monika Heller to Special Projects Chief.
