
BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler USD 313 Board of Education meets Monday evening and on their agenda is a Memorandum of Understanding for Solar Analysis at USD 313 schools.
According to Buhler USD 313 Superintendent Cindy Couchman, the MOU is an agreement to move forward with an energy analysis and cost for installing solar panels at Buhler Grade, Buhler High, Union Valley and Prairie Hills Middle School.
Utilizing incentives such as Investment Tax Credits, American Made Tax Credits, and the Renew America Schools, the costs are significantly offset to install and utilize solar panels.
The MOU is with GRP Wegman and Greenbush Purchasing Cooperative.
The Buhler USD 313 Board of Education meets at 6:00 p.m. in the Burkholder Administrative Center in Buhler.
