
TOPEKA — The Kansas Department of Transportation announced on Wednesday approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place February 16, 2022, in Topeka.
Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.
Area projects include:
McPherson County‑ East Durst Street Bridge over Black Kettle Creek located near N. Black Kettle Avenue in Moundridge, bridge replacement, 0.3 mile, Ward Davis Builders Inc., Hutchinson, Kansas, $228,620.20.
Reno County‑ K‑14/K‑96, from 1,300 feet south of Heartland Drive and K‑14, from 1,470 feet south of W. Trail West Road, guard fence, 2.6 miles, Bettis Asphalt & Construction Inc., Topeka, Kansas, $311,580.73.
Also approved from the January 19, 2022 letting:
McPherson County‑ U.S. 56/K‑153 intersection, intersection improvement, 0.8 mile, Pearson Construction LLC, Wichita, $665,685.10.
