Three residents rescued in house fire

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Fire Crews called out to a house fire Thursday afternoon.

Crews were dispatched to 210 South Ford around 4:50 p.m. after a passerby noticed smoke coming from the home. Crews responded and were able to quickly contain the blaze at its point of origin. Three people found sleeping inside the home and were rescued. All three were evaluated but refused transport to the hospital. There were no injuries reported.

The blaze caused smoke and heat damage throughout the home. The cause of the fire was from an electrical issue.
