HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Because of these unusual times, Salthawk Community Support was not be able to do their traditional Angel Tree Project at Hutchinson High School or Hutchinson Middle School-8.
They came up with a different way to help those in need this year.
Salthawk Community Support handed out 150 angel boxes consisting of food, hygiene items, certificate’s for a Christmas Dinner at Dillons and a Dillons gift card to HHS and HMS-8 families on Wednesday.
Salthawk Community Support is a partnership with the school district and Trinity United Methodist Church. There is always a need for these students and their families. If you would like to help you can donate online or by mail:
