Hutchinson Community College women's soccer player <a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/wsoc/2026-27/bios/tamaki_olivia_k56s">Olivia Tamaki</a> became the first Blue Dragon player this season to earn KJCCC Division I Player of the Week honors.

Tamaki, a sophomore all-conference midfielder from Campinas, Brazil showed her offensive prowess last week in a 1-0-1 week for Hutchinson.

Tamaki scored goals in both games, a 2-2 tie at Barton and a 2-1 home win over Seward County.

Tamaki has now scored goals in 3 of the last 4 games for the Blue Dragons.

She is the first Blue Dragon to win KJCCC Player of the Week honors since teammate <a href="https://bluedragonsports.com/sports/wsoc/2026-27/bios/smith_poppy_3kvd">Poppy Smith</a> did so in Week 2 last season.

This is the first time Tamaki has be recognized as a conference player of the Week.

The Blue Dragons play host to No. 4 Butler at 6 p.m. on Wednesday and then travel to play at No. 7 Cowley at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
