Corey William Goemann |1979-2021|

Pratt - Corey William Goemann, 41, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 after a 3 year battle with esophageal cancer. He was born July 13, 1979 in Pratt to Daniel and Mary Ann (Kernohan) Goemann. Corey married Emma (Foltz) Goemann on October 7, 2017 in St. Leo, Kansas.

Corey attended Pratt High School and received his Associates of Science in Accounting from Pratt Community College. He worked for the Kansas Wildlife and Parks in Pratt in the licensing department as an Administrative Specialist. He and the joy of his life, Emma, enjoyed attending movies and concerts, along with watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks, going to breweries, fishing, collecting records and sports cards, and spending time with his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews.

Corey is survived by his wife of 3 1/2 years, Emma; parents, Daniel and Mary Ann Goemann of Pratt; mother and father in-law, David and Amy Foltz of Wichita; brothers, Kyle (Angelia) Goemann and Rodney (Sarah) Goemann both of Pratt; brother in-laws, Jeremy Foltz of Norman, Oklahoma, James (Emily) Foltz of Prairie Village; and David Foltz of Wichita; and nieces and nephews, Pippa Foltz, Tagen, Morgan, Logan, Allison, Natasha and Kendall Goemann.

Corey is preceded in death by his grandparents, Archie and Nadine Goemann and Max and Doris Kernohan.

Cremation has taken place. A come and go Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. This will be a casual event, please bring any photos that you have that can be left for the family.

Memorials may be made to Wild Trust for fishing habitat or Pratt Parks Department for a tree and plaque in his name in care of Larrison Mortuary.
