STATEMENT FROM THE SEDGWICK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office confirms that we are currently conducting an investigation involving Nickerson USD 309 students and/or staff members at the request of the Reno County Sheriff's Office.
This matter remains an active investigation and no arrests have been made at this time. Once the investigation is complete, all findings will be presented to the appropriate charging authority for formal review and consideration of any potential charges.
To preserve the integrity of the investigation and protect the rights of those involved, no further details will be released at this time.
