HUTCHINSON, Kan.—The Hutchinson Monarchs hope to open it's 2023 season on the road tonight versus the Great Bend Bat Cats at 7pm.
Mother nature has not cooperated with the Monarchs as they have had four games postponed due to either rain of unplayable fields. Great Bend has been more fortunate with three wins already on their schedule. This game will be the home opener for Great Bend.
Hutchinson versus Great Bend opens a three game series with game two on Friday before the final game of the series moves to Hobart-Detter Field in Hutchinson on Saturday night.
