HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Human Relations Commission has made their feelings known about the recent departure of Human Relations Office Datjaeda Moore. City Manager Jeff Cantrell has reported to the Commission about the matter. Now Moore will get her chance to speak before the Commission Wednesday afternoon.
Moore resigned after being suspended for what Cantrell said were a number of violations of the employee handbook. Her resignation brought a flurry of accusations from the Commission which Cantrell addressed during a special meeting last week.
Finding a new Human Relations Officer could take some time. Cantrell said during last week’s meeting that it would be about 45 days before he put the job out for applications.
Today’s meeting begins at 4 p.m. and will be streamed on Zoom.
