Reno County active case count continues to rise, cluster activity holding steady

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The active case count in Reno County is still slowly increasing, with active numbers up to 223 as of Tuesday evening.

112 of those cases come from existing clusters, 102 of those 112 clustered cases are from Hutchinson Correctional Facility.

265 Reno County residents have recovered. Still just one death has been reported as a result of COVID-19.

5,715 total tests have been administered, with 5226 negatives, for an overall positive test rate of 8.56%. The community positive test rate is holding steady at 6.66%. 9.09% of the population has been tested.
