Deborah Hill, 67, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Sedgwick, Kansas. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Glenn & Dorothy (Wilson) Kennedy on April 21, 1954. She was a long time resident of Sedgwick, a graduate of Sedgwick High School and Fort Hays State University.
She worked at Cessna for many years as a chemist. Debbie enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading and playing with their miniature schnauzer Buddy. She loved dogs, dolphins and watching cheesy Scifi movies. She was also active for many years helping at the American Legion Post 268 in Sedgwick.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Vicki, and ex-husband Curtis.
Debbie is survived by her husband John Pittinger, siblings Glenda (Greg) Krehbiel, Annette (Bill) Cook and Patti (Robert) Unruh, and her son William (Sarah) Hill.
An informal memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 17th at the Sedgwick City Park shelter, Sedgwick, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated in her memory to Caring Hands Humane Society of Newton, 1400 SE 3rd St, Newton, KS 67114.
