MCPHERSON, Kan. - The Hutchinson Salthawk girls were ice cold shooting the ball dropping the 2025 Mid America Classic semi-final match up with Olathe South 49-19 on Friday night at the roundhouse in McPherson.
The Falcons jumped out to a 19-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back shooting 42.5% for the game to the Salthawks 14.9% from the field.
Hutchinson will now play the host McPherson Bull Pup girls who lost to Manhattan 48-38 in the other semi-final game at 3:10pm Saturday for third place.
The Salthawks were led in scoring by Kaia Smith with 6 points, Tenley Keeton 3 and Grace Posh 3.
Olathe South was led by Eve Long with 23.
