Stanley Dean Unruh, 85, of Galva, Kansas, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at Salina Regional Medical Center. He was born January 23, 1936 in McPherson, Kansas, the son of Danny and Irene (Unruh) Unruh.
He was a member of United Center Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in Galva, Kansas.
Stanley worked 42 years at Hesston Corporation and ended his career as a tool and die fabricator.
He was united in marriage to Barbara Jean Johnson on April 6, 1958 at Lone Tree Mennonite Church in Galva, Kansas. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his son, Milton (Sue) Unruh of Galva, KS; and his daughters, Marilyn (Sid) Reimer of Windom, KS, Nancy (Gregg) Eicher of Centerville, TN, and Lori Unruh of Galva, KS; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Warren (Marilyn) Unruh, Barron WI, and Gary (Camilla) Unruh, Galva, KS.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; son, Marshall Unruh; and sister-in-law Janice Unruh.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 27, 2022 at United Center Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Galva, Kansas. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at the church.
