The Hutch High volleyball team took its first loss of the year on Tuesday, losing to Derby in two games before bouncing back to beat Salina South in three at the Salthawk Activity Center. The Salthawks are 9-1Halstead beat Nickerson in three and Nickerson swept Haven in Nickerson on the volleyball court. The Panthers are 10-3 on the year.Buhler swept El Dorado and Winfield in a volleyball triangular Tuesday to go to 8-1 on the season.Trinity Catholic beat Ell-Saline in three in volleyball Tuesday, as well.On the soccer pitch, Buhler beat Towanda Circle 11-0, while Hutch High lost to Valley Center 1-0.Hutch High varsity girls golf earned a 3rd place team finish at the Newton Invitational.
