HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Abbyville Rodeo is Friday and Saturday and that's rescheduled from earlier in the year thanks to COVID-19.

"We usually have a big barbecue and we're not having that," said Bronc Rumford with the Abbyville Booster Club. "We usually have a big parade and we're going to participate in the Patriots Parade here in Hutch."

The rodeo will not be mandating masks.

"We understand if you want to wear a mask, that's great," Rumford said. "If you don't want to wear a mask, that's fine, too. Each and every individual has to make those decisions on their own, so, there's a lot of things different, but, I guess the one thing that won't be different is that it will be good entertainment."

The rodeo begins at 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday night. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 out in Abbyville. Children under 12 are free to get in and tickets are good for either night.
