
HAVEN, Kan. — The Haven City Council has a busy agenda for its meeting Monday night.
On the agenda are budget proposals for the Haven Tree Board, EMS Board, Economic Development and Recreation Departments. Also on the agenda is the proposed hire of a field maintenance person and the expenditure for summer ball shirts.
Several appointments by the mayor need council approval as well, those of City Attorney Jennifer Hill of McDonald Tinker, City Judge Stanley Juhnke, City Clerk, Leslie Atherton, City Treasurer Julie Caffrey and Police Chief Stephen Schaffer.
The City will then adopt a resolution implementing a wage increase.
Also on the agenda are updates from Schaffer and Public Works Director Derek Stoll. Bids for street resurfacing will be considered as part of Stoll's report.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. via Zoom.
