HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Stripes rallied from an early deficit to defeat the Stars 10-4 in the Jayhawk Summer League All-Star Game on Saturday.
After falling behind 3-0, the Stripes answered with a steady offensive attack, scoring 10 of the game's final 11 runs to pull away for the victory.
The Stripes tied the game with a three-run inning before taking the lead for good with a four-run frame. They added insurance late to complete the comeback.
Both teams showcased talent from across the Jayhawk Summer League, with players contributing throughout the lineup in front of the all-star crowd.
The annual showcase marked a celebration of the league's top performers as the Stripes capped the event with a convincing 10-4 victory.
