BUHLER, Kan. — With her campaign in full swing, Lynnette Krieger-Zook is proud to announce her candidacy for Kansas House of Representatives for the 104th District covering parts of Reno and McPherson County. Lynnette is a long-time Buhler resident, educator, wife, mother, and grandmother. Lynnette felt a personal calling to run for office after years of being involved with both Republican and Democratic campaigns.

Knocking on hundreds of doors, attending numerous community events and chatting with voters she listens to hear what is important to each person. A survey was shared with several thousand people in our community. The top three priorities were strong local schools, tax reform and expanding Medicaid, along with affordable healthcare and accessible reproductive healthcare.

Lynnette believes that these priorities lead to better and stronger local communities and a growing state. She is committed to listening, connecting, and understanding the concerns of voters in District 104, and will bring these issues to Topeka. Lynnette believes in representing the people of Reno and McPherson Counties - not special interest groups.

Lynnette has over 30 years of educational experience. Currently retired, Lynnette has been a long-time employee for USD 308 and continues to serve as a substitute teacher and as the local Hutchinson NEA President.

In addition, she has been involved in various non-profit and faith organizations. This advocacy experience proves to be a great asset to her as a leader.

“| believe the role of Representative is to listen to the voters, do the research and work with others to create legislation that meets the needs of District 104 and our state. To do this I am personally engaging with the voters both individually and in their community and will continue this practice after I am elected.”

In her spare time, Lynnette enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks, gardening, reading, and traveling.
