Hutchinson High School Class of 1974 Reunion Committee
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson High School Class of 1974 50th Class Reunion will take place October 18-19, 2024.
The cost to attend is $40 per person. Please send your check, made payable to HHS Class of 1974, to Bell Credit Union, Attn: Jacque/50th Reunion, 1600 North Lorraine, Hutchinson KS 67501. Please send your checks by September 15th, so we can lock in all the plans.
Friday, October 18th
4 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Gather at Anchor Inn (128 S Main St); Food and drink available at your own cost.
7 p.m.- Hutch High football at Gowans Stadium (East 11th). Your names will be provided to the West gate, ticket included in cost of reunion. We will all sit in a reserved section. Name tags will be provided.
During the game, or after: Gather at Carl’s Bar (103 N. Main) or Salt City Brewery (514 N. Main.) Both are open until 10:00 p.m. Food and drink are available at your own cost.
Saturday, October 19th
Contact Mike Johnson at (620) 728-8421 if you would like to take in a round of golf at Carey Park. Open to both the guys and gals, weather permitting.
9 a.m. – 11 a.m. – The women of the class are invited to get together at Clayworks (1125 N Main) to visit. Coffee and breakfast items are available at Scuttlebutts Coffee, located in the same building, at your own cost.
6 p.m. – 11 p.m. – Meet at the Cosmosphere (11th and Plum Street) for an evening of conversation and fun. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Salt City Brewery; water and soft drinks will be provided. A cash bar will be available, no outside alcohol is allowed by the Cosmosphere.
Tours of the Museum will be given at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Blocks of rooms are held at two hotels: Hampton Inn, 1401 ½ East 11th Street, $119.99 plus tax, phone number (620) 665-9800; and at the Holiday Inn Express, 911 Porter Street, $129 plus tax, phone (620) 259-8656. The blocks of rooms will be released in mid-September. There is also a Comfort Inn at 1600 Super Plaza Avenue (off of East 17th). No rooms are blocked for our class, phone number (620) 669-5200.
