Leo D. Bradford, 74, died February 11, 2022, at the Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS. He was born November 28, 1947 to Opal and Leonard Bradford in Hutchinson, KS.
Leo graduated from Fairfield High School in 1966. He retired from the State of Kansas, Hutchinson Correctional Facility after 22 years. The thing he was most proud of in his life, was his 22 years in the United States Army, Navy and Kansas National Guard. Leo was privileged to go on the Kansas Honor Flight to Washington, DC in September of 2021.
Leo is survived by his wife, Sherry Bosley-Bradford of Hutchinson; son Michael Bradford; daughter, Sarah Meinhardt; step-sons, Todd and Tyler Bosley; grandchildren, Darrel Baker, Branden and Dylan Meinhardt, and Christopher Bradford; step-grandchildren, KayLynn, Allyson, Berkley, and Lincoln Bosley.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Jennie Ellinger of Abbyville; and precious granddaughter, Shania Baker.
Funeral services will be February 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Elliott Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Reno County Veterans’ Memorial, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS 67501.
