HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The firefighting crew that went to the East Troublesome Fire in Colorado last week has safely made it back to Hutchinson.
The other crew from Hutchinson is still on the Calwood Fire. There has been some serious winter weather in that area which should help the fire conditions but the fire department noted in a Facebook post over the weekend that it will take a toll on the men and their equipment.
They are due to remain on the Calwood Fire until Wednesday.
