Timothy ‘Tim’ Rance Tracy, 60, passed away March 31, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born Aug. 27, 1960, Wichita, to Willard Wayne and Eva Arlene (Mullins) Tracy.

Tim was a 1978 graduate of Fairfield High School, Langdon. He served in the United States Army. Tim was employed by Vidir Machine of Manitoba, Canada, working in construction with industrial and commercial heavy duty equipment. He retired with over 15 years of service.

He was an outdoorsman. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering on anything that was outside, especially his hunting blinds. He was a hard worker, but he lived by a simple set of rules. Tim was always there for his family, his neighbors, or anyone else that he met. He was ready and willing to give the ‘shirt off of his back’ if needed, in order to help his fellow man.

On Oct. 20, 1989, Tim married Rayna Devin Trimmer, in Fredonia. They shared over 31 years of marriage.

He is survived by: wife, Rayna Tracy of Nickerson; children, Rayetta (Jeremy) Combs of Cushing, OK, Matthew (Meghan) Tracy of Hutchinson, Cody Tracy of Hutchinson, Tommy Hooker of Hutchinson, and Angel Tracy of Nickerson;  siblings, Bill Tracy of Buhler, Debra Clothier of Hutchinson, and Rita (Robert) Vredenburg of Great Bend; and grandchildren, Billy Allen Combs, Payton Combs, Brailen Tracy, Landrie Tracy, Willard Tracy, and Delilah Tracy.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bob Luce.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice House, Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
