The Salthawk Girl's used full court pressure to force 26 campus turnovers in the first half alone. And they go on to win 59 to 14. In a rout, Lady Salthawks led 40 to 9 at the halfway point.

Grace Posch led the way with 19, including 3, 3 point baskets. Josiah McLean chipped in 14, Libby Jackson had a career high with 11.

In the boy's game, the Salt Hawks jumped out to a 15 to 5 first quarter lead and never looked back as they led 35-16 at halftime. Hutchinson routs Campus 67-34 was the final. Senior Nic Lange led the Hawks with fourteen. Terrell King had ten. Both the Salthawk boy's and girl's go into the Christmas break with 5 and 0 final records. They are playing good basketball,

After one of the most successful seasons in program history. HutchCC football coach Drew Dallas was named the 2022 American Community College Football Coaches Association Coach of the Year.

This is Dallas First AFC National Award and his second National Coaching Award in three seasons as the Blue Dragon head coach. Hutchinson's football team tied an all time record for NJCAA All-Americans with ten as that was released yesterday. Receiver Malik Benson became the first Blue Dragon ever to be a two time first team all-American. He was the only first team selection from this year's Blue Dragons squad. Quarterback Dylan Liabel, who was a 2021 honorable mention all-American, now joins Benson as just the fourth and fifth Blue Dragons to earn all-American honors in consecutive seasons. Running back Dylan Kedzior, offensive lineman J'onre Reed were named on the second team. Offensive lineman Desmond Schuster. Defensive lineman. Jarell Boykins. Junior defensive end Niko Taylor, linebacker Terry Kirksey, defensive back Jamal Morris and kicker Cole Seagraves were all honorable mentions. Speaking of Dylan Kedzior, he announced yesterday on Twitter that he is committed to the University of Buffalo to further his football career. He was the KJCCC Offensive Player of the Year this past season.

KU's Jalen Daniels, Earl Bostic, Junior and Sam Bert. Named second team academic All-Americans. The three Jayhawks on the academic all-American team marks the first time in program history Kansas has had three or more individuals on that team.

Chiefs have designated Wichita's Blake Beltln. He has not played this season. Another weapon for Patrick Mahomes and company.

Wichita State junior infielder Brock Rodon named a third team preseason all-American by collegiate baseball yesterday. Shockers open the season February 17th at Long Beach State Basketball.
