SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspect for alleged sexual assault and rape.
On May 28, police contacted a 17-year-old female at a Wichita area hospital regarding a sexual assault report.
The victim reported being sexually assaulted while at a friend’s home in an incoherent state and the incident being videoed and put on the social media platform Snapchat.
Wichita Police Domestic violence/sex crimes detectives, crime linkage unit detectives and officers from the Domestic Intervention Violence Reduction Team (DIVRT) collaborated and followed up on the case, identifying 19-year-old Ethan Garrett and 18-year-old David Clark both of Wichita being involved in the assault.
Clark is being held on requested charges that include two counts of rape and one count of aggravated sexual battery and Garrett is being held on a requested charge of rape and aggravated sexual battery.
