Pratt - Richard Dean Sanders, 73, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 11, 1947 in Hardtner, to Robert R and Doris (Seyfirt) Sanders. Richard married Susan (Ballinger) Sanders on May 3, 1996 in Pratt. They were married for 25 years.

Richard served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He worked in the Oil Field as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Marsha Lee Barker of Pratt, Jarrod (Kyla) Hemphill of Medicine Lodge, Angi (Johnnie) Keung of Livingston, New Jersey, Scott (Abbey) Travis of Colwich and Leslie McDonald of Pratt; ten grandchildren, Darrian (Brock) Wannow of Longmont, Colorado, Izabella Barker of Pratt, Caleb Hemphill and Cady Hemphill both of Medicine Lodge, Andrew Keung and Christopher Keung both of Livingston, New Jersey, Tinley Travis and Tanner Travis both of Colwich, Trinity McDonald and Tristin McDonald both of Pratt; and great-granddaughter, Autumn Reid.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bonnie Faye Sanders; and brother, Terry Cummins.

Cremation has taken place. Per Richard's wishes, there will be no services.
