HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The final Friday of the Kansas State Fair will be a day fit for a Kingdom, Chiefs Kingdom, that is.
"It is going to be all things Chiefs," said Kansas State Fair General Manager Bryan Schulz. "If you're part of the Kansas Lottery and you're a PlayOn member, you'll be getting a code that you can show at the front gate and that will get you in to the grounds for $2 that day."
There will also be a great source of Arrowhead Stadium entertainment on the fairgrounds.
"We have secured KC Wolf, the mascot will be there to get everybody pumped up. We also secured the drumline. They will be coming in late afternoon and doing a few shows out on the grounds. Then, we will open up the grandstand and we will have a kickoff rally party."
Sleep Shoppe and Furniture Gallery is providing the funds for KC Wolf and the drumline. They will be on the grounds from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and then head into the grandstand to be there for ticket holders for the Tech N9ne with Blane Howard concert that night.
