
Christina “Tina” Leah McFerrin, 63 years old, of Sylvia, KS was born May 18, 1957. She left this world to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021.
She married the love of her life, Montie McFerrin, on June 28, 1986. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Organizational Management from Sterling College in 2019, which was a lifelong dream and accomplishment. She worked in the financial aid department at Sterling College for 7.5 years.
Tina was a founding member of the SaltCity Cowboy Church.
She is survived by her husband, Montie McFerrin, of 34 years, her twins, Colton McFerrin and Kathryn Patee (Husband, Dustin Patee) and their three children; Malley, Welker and Bristol. She is also survived by her father, William “Bill” Mohr, mom, Sherri Mohr, and her brother, Gary Mohr (Joy Shaker), brother-in-law, Jerry McFerrin, sister-in-law, Susan McFerrin, and brother-in-law, Tim McFerrin, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial arrangements are being handled by Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the SaltCity Cowboy Church, 810 N. Main, South Hutchinson. The memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at 2 p.m., at the SaltCity Cowboy Church.
