The Partridge Public Library has received three major grants to help furnish their new library building and to expand and strengthen outreach in the Partridge Community. The new library and community center built by the City of Partridge is expected to be completed in May 2025.

The South Central Kansas Library System awarded the library a Libraries Transform matching grant to provide new services to patrons including a photo kiosk that allows patrons to download and print photos for the cost of materials. Other items include better shelving, comfortable seating, and Maker Space kits that provide activities for adults and teens.

Support to purchase toddler sensory boards was provided by a grant from the Helen Adams Hamilton Children and Education Fund at the Hutchinson Community Foundation. Sensory boards, also known as busy boards, have multiple objects that can be manipulated such as gears, hinges, buckles, and zippers to help children develop fine motor skills and provide entertainment. This welcome addition will provide an educational activity for the littlest patrons of the library.

The South Central Kansas Library System (SCKLS) has also awarded the library a technology grant to purchase a new printer. The library offers printing and copying services to patrons for a small fee.
