The Big 12 Conference released it's postseason all-conference selections for women's basketball on Tuesday afternoon.

Kansas forward Jaliya Davis delivered one of the most dominant freshman seasons in conference history, earning unanimous Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors. The Overland Park native averaged 21.0 points per game, the highest scoring average by a freshman nationally this season and the only Power Conference freshman to eclipse 20 points per game. Davis also won nine consecutive Big 12 Freshman of the Week awards, the most by any Power Conference freshman all-time. She becomes the first Jayhawk to win Big 12 Freshman of the Year.

Davis was also named to the All-Big 12 First Team, joined by teammate S’Mya Nichols, giving Kansas two First Team selections. The Jayhawks were one of just three programs to place multiple players on the top team.

Kansas State was represented on the All-Big 12 Third Team by senior guard Tess Heal, while Taryn Sides earned Honorable Mention recognition. The Wildcats continue to maintain a presence among the league’s top individual performers as they prepare for postseason play.

League-wide, TCU’s Olivia Miles was named Big 12 Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year after guiding the Horned Frogs to a second straight regular-season conference title. West Virginia’s Jordan Harrison was selected Defensive Player of the Year, Texas Tech’s Snudda Collins earned Sixth Player of the Year, Iowa State’s Arianna Jackson was Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Texas Tech’s Krista Gerlich was voted Coach of the Year.

The awards were voted on by the conference’s head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own players.

The 2026 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament returns to Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center March 4-8/9, with all 16 programs competing for the conference’s automatic NCAA Tournament berth.
