Tex Lee Hutson, 39, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, at his home in Hutchinson. Tex Lee was born August 30, 1982 in Wichita, the son of Claude “Pops” and Loretta Briley Hutson Sr.
Tex Lee graduated from Hutchinson High School and was a trade welder for several manufacturing companies. Tex Lee was the type of person who would do anything for anyone when they needed help. He was a friend to many and loved by all. He loved playing disc golf with his kids and riding his Harley Davidson. His children were his whole world and he dearly loved each one of them. Tex Lee will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pops; two brothers, Carl Hutson Sr. and Jimmy Hutson; a best friends, Mattt Pritchard; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Betty Briley, paternal grandparents, Neil and Helen Hutson; and several uncles.
Tex Lee is survived by his mother, Loretta; four children, Makenzie Sallee, Trey, Christian and Warren Hutson; three brothers, CL (Sondra) Hutson Jr., Gene (Michelle) Hutson, and Shane Hale; four sisters, Georgia (Jon) Merritt, Michelle (Mark) McCabe, Shelly (Adam) Reynolds, and Tina (Joe) Mandeville; grandson, Bowie Taylor; best friends, Anthony Frischenmeyer and Dustin Parsons, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and friends.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
