RICE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 8:30a.m. Monday in Rice County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Hyundai Tucson driven by Jennifer L. Butts, 47, Lyons, was northbound on 26th Road just south of Avenue Q. The driver thought she saw an animal and swerved to miss it. The vehicle struck something that deflated the front tire. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled onto its side.
EMS transported Butts to the Hospital in Lyons. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
