The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Wind Advisory from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
South winds 25 to 30 mph are expected with wind gusts up to 40 mph.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
High profile vehicles should use extra caution on east and west roads. Blowing dust is also a possibility during the afternoon.
